Heavy machinery moving

Moving a heavy machine starts with one question: where do you lift it? We check weight, centre of gravity and lifting points, choose the right tool (forklift, crane, heavy-duty skates or dollies) and move the machine without damaging it, the floor or the building.

What we move

  • CNC machines and machining centres
  • Lathes, mills and presses
  • Printing machines
  • Generators and compressors
  • Electrical and network cabinets
  • Heavy safes
  • Optical tables
  • Single heavy items

Our process

  1. 01Technical check

Weight, dimensions, lifting points and manufacturer instructions. We check the route, openings and floor load.

  2. 02Machine preparation

Axes and moving parts locked, fluids drained where needed and control panels protected.

  3. 03Lifting and loading

Heavy-duty skates, forklift or crane, and tie-down to anchor points on the truck.

  4. 04Placement

Precise placement at the new site, ready for levelling and connection by the technician.

Moving a CNC machine

A CNC machine is heavy and precise. Before the move the axes are locked per the manufacturer's instructions, the spindle and screen are protected, and the machine travels without shocks to preserve accuracy. After placement the technician levels and calibrates.

Electrical cabinets and generators

Electrical cabinets and generators are heavy and not always balanced. We lift them only from the designated lifting points and move them upright with full tie-down.

Common questions about heavy machinery moving

What is the maximum weight you move?

It depends on the lifting equipment and the route. For very heavy items we coordinate a crane and a suitable truck. Send us the machine details and we will check.

Do you move a single machine?

Yes. We also move one machine or a single heavy item.

Is a crane needed?

Not always. Often heavy skates and a forklift are enough. When there is no access, we bring a crane.

How do you protect the floor?

With load-spreading boards and wheels that do not damage the floor, especially epoxy floors.

Planning a move?

Tell us what needs to move and we'll get back to you with a plan and a quote.
