In short
The key is that all preparation happens before the weekend: employees pack and label on Thursday, the crew dismantles and loads in the evening or on Friday, placement and reassembly are done by Saturday night, and IT connects so everything works on Sunday.
Sample timeline
- Thursday noon: employees finish packing and labelling.
- Thursday afternoon: furniture disassembly and computer packing.
- Friday: transport and placement by workstation.
- Saturday night or early Sunday: IT connects and tests.
What must be ready first
The new office must be ready: power, network points, air conditioning and keys. Check that the internet already works there before the weekend. If something is not ready, it is better to postpone a week than move into an office you cannot work in.
